What does 'No" really mean 11.10.25

Hearing the word “no” sets off triggers in many of us.

After all, I think that may be the first word we learn to say as a child! 😆

What does “no” really mean? I learned a long time ago in sales that “no” can mean a few things.

No can mean, “I don’t have enough information to say yes.”

No can mean, “I’m not saying no to YOU, I’m just saying no to what you are presenting me with.”

Or

Actually, and more frequently it could mean, “Not now.”

Let’s start making the no’s a “Not right now” all the time.

Don’t take it as a personal blow and don’t make it mean something about YOU!

Sometimes I don’t even ask because I assume the answer is "NO"

I make judgments before I even pick up the phone

I make excuses for the other people to protect myself

I say things like, “Oh I don’t want to bother them today.”

Or, “I know they are sobusy!”

If I don’t ask, the answer will always be NO

I can’t think in someone’s head

Why am I putting those vibes out there

That’s not the outcome I want

So I’m only staying here for a minute

I can course correct easily

I can say some positive outcomes before I call

What if they say YES?

What if they have been looking for a solution I have?

What if they were actually happy I called?

What would be the worst scenario if theydidsay NO?

Will I let them make me feel horrible for the rest of the day?

Will their answer dictate the rest of my calls?

Will I die?🤪

Of course not

I will be ok if I get a no

I will go on

I will keep on going

I am the woman who doesn’t give up

I am the woman who keeps going

I am the woman who gets YESES more often than NOs

I am the woman who can take it

I am the woman who does take it

I am the woman who does it anyway

Yes! I am that woman!
