Set It And Forget It

Good glorious May!

Do you write down your goals? Be honest.

Do you look at them every day and notice you have not yet hit them?

Mid month do you hunker down and “do more” or start to worry?

The missing link in what we are taught about visualization and trying to

”manifest” our goals is theset it and forget itmethod.

It is said that writing your goals down, in blue ink, in cursive (I think most of my readers know what this is😁) helps. It is suggested that blue ink on paper better stimulates the prefrontal cortex~the part of your brain responsible for focus, planning and decision making.

Try this: Write down your goal for this week on a piece of paper.

Date it.

Fold it up and put it away somewhere you will remember (I know, put a sticky note somewhere).

Here’s the key: Forget about it.

What most of us do wrong is look at it in lack. It hasn’t come true yet.

You don’t have it yet. You don’t know “how” it is going to happen. We’re running out of time.

When you do this, you’re actually setting up your belief system to start noticing all the reasons why it won’t come to fruition. It becomes daunting; it looks like an uphill battle.

Let’s begin to look at our goals and dreams differently today.

I love how when I set a goal I just know I’ll hit it

It’s easy now when I set it and forget it

I write it down and when I think of it, I see it completed

That feels so freeing

That feels like ease and flow

I like setting goals like this now

Writing it down and sealing the deal

Ah, yes; that feels good

I know feeling good is key

When I feel good I attract more good energy

When I’m in the flow my goals seem so doable

I like this feeling

I like starting my day with this positive flow of energy

I just know that this week is going to be amazing

I can feel it

I can see it

I can believe it

Yes, I can!

Why set goals that you don’t believe will come true?

So many set goals and then “go to work” trying to make them “happen”.

If you received the idea to set this goal, then thehowis ready...you just need to get out of the way and receive it.

You just need practice.
