Happy August,

I'm in a slow season.

It's OK to say that out loud.

I'm in a slow season.

Not because everyone is "on vacation".

Not because nothing I'm doing is working to bring in clients.

It's intentional.

I've slowed down to rest, to breathe, to enjoy, to be curious.

Not to hustle, beat myself up because I'm not being productive, or stress because I think my business is not growing.

It's very life-giving to be in control of what my days look like.
Not only that, but also...

to be OK when at the end of the day I sometimes say, "I didn't feel like I accomplished anything,"

to just "be present" during my walk or my workout or my conversations with peopleIS an accomplishment.

Let's put this in a JOLT so you can release anything you might be saying to yourself that is not empowering.

⚡️[JJJ] Julie's Joyful JOLT⚡️

Sometimes it feels like I'm not making any progress

Sometimes I feel like I'm losing ground

Sometimes I compare myself to others

I feel like I should be doing more

I should be showing up more

I should be getting out more

Then I realize something

This is my journey

This is my life to live

Most people show their highlight reel to us

We may never see their behind the scenes

I'm ok with knowing that it's not mine to hold

I'm good with where I am right now

I'm grateful for all that I have

My business is not why I'm on this planet

My life is a reflection of who I am not what I have

I'm good with this

I'm good just being me

I'm good just living today

I'm good with not always producing

I'm good just being

It's OK to just BE

I like just being

I like just living

I like just feeling free

Yeah, that feels good…

I'm feeling a retreat in our future. ReplyRETREATif you're feeling it too!
