Good glorious morning

I love a getaway, don't you?

I prefer long 4-day weekends or short trips during the week.

They reboot my month, charge my energy, and actually help me be more productive when I am working.

I've been a 1099 independent contractor since 1995!

It's important to me to have freedom over my schedule and how I structure my week.

But sometimes, I still have that little inkling of…

Oh, I should be working.

Oh, I need to work more hours.

Oh, will my business become stagnant if I take time off?

The answer is nope!

It's ok to take time off

I feel good when I rest

I feel good when I unplug

My business will still be there

My business will flourish when I refresh myself

I like feeling good about myself

I like knowing that I am my top priority

I like knowing that it's not being selfish

I like knowing that this is actually the thing that moves the needle in my business

Yeah, I like taking time off

I feel good taking time off

I am going to keep scheduling time off

It feels good

It feels right

I feel great

Let this be your permission slip to take time off.

Go play. Have fun. And remember my mantra,

"The more fun I have the more money I make!"
