1.26.26 Inner Guidance

Keeping the outside voices away from influencing your decisions is hard!
Listening to your Inner Guidance (your gut, your knowing, God) should beeasy, but it comes with trust.
Do you trust yourself enough to make the right decisions? Are you really willing to listen to yourself when others say it’s nonsense? (Makes no-sense!)
Where do you find yourself waffling? Second guessing?
We just came off a beautiful 2 day retreat at the beach.
So many breakthroughs and promises made to ourselves. So much hope and inspiration for the future.
Now comes the hard part:
Staying out of your head. (It’s a dangerous place to go by yourself☺️). Staying true to the promises you made.
When this January retreat came to me as an idea, I didn’t have anyone say they wanted to attend. I just went ahead with the plans and preparations.
I totally trusted that if I got the idea (from God who gives you an imagination, an idea, and then has the plan of action in place before you can actually see it) then I was to move ahead with it.
Total trust.
Being completely transparent here ~ 10 days before the retreat there was one person registered. 🥴And she purchased a plane ticket! Double🥴🥴.
The week before, all the rest of the registrations and payments came in. (I did slightly waiver in the trust department, as I’m a planner and not a last minute decision maker!)
Outside voices told me I shouldn’t have spent the energy or money on this one.
Outside voices told me to refund their money and cancel it.
Outside voices told me I wasn’t charging enough so the value wasn’t perceived.
Inside voices told me to keep the faith, the right people will sign up and say YES to their goals & dreams. (Not to me!)
We ended up with a sold out event with eight amazing souls! There were even a few more asking if there was still room a few days before!!! YES!!!!
Now, how to activate YOUR trust and knowing it always works out for you:

This is what joy, support, and building momentum looks like.
Just one of the unforgettable moments from our Winter Wonderland retreat this weekend.

Sometimes I second guess myself
Sometimes I can’t make a decision on my own
Sometimes I’m in analysis paralysis
It can be painful
It can cause anxious feelings
I really would like to trust myself more
I really would like to know I’m making the right decision
I’ve been doubting so long that it will take some time
I know I didn’t get this way overnight
I know it will take some time
I know it is possible
I know if I use the tools I have
I know if I continue to seek support
I know if I continue to go inside
The answers are already there
I know it’s possible
It becomes easier to trust myself
It becomes easier to know I’m making the right decision
I know I can do this
I feel good about this
I feel more in control
I feel proud of myself
It is possible
I can do this
I am doing this
I am doing this
I am doing this
Interestingly, while I’m writing this (yes, it’s me not ChatGPT😁) a daily devotion popped up on my phone.
I’ll share Psalm 145:13
“The Lord is trustworthy in all the promises and faithful in all he does.”
Coincidence? I don’t think so. More like a sign we are on the right path!
