As you are reading this, we are in beautiful Solvang, a charming Danish town about an hour away, enjoying holiday festivities and visiting wineries with friends. A weekend getaway is the perfect way to not only enjoy the beautiful lights and decorations of the season, but also step away from the heightened pace of holiday preparations.

I love this time of year. Even though we don’t have snow, and last week was in the 70’s & 80’s, this feels a little more like Christmas. The air gets crisp at night so we can bring out the fuzzy coats, warm socks, and boots.

While we inevitably get caught up in the busyness of the holidays: shopping, wrapping, shipping, baking, decorating, let’s not forget about our businesses. They, too, deserve the attention you are giving all the sparkly lights.
